THIS IS THE STORY OF HOW WE MET

One of the things that both Mia and TeCori were looking for in finding a forever love, was first finding a best friend. There are some love stories that truly feel like a fairytale story, and these two coworkers, turned friends, and now engaged best friends, is one of them.

It was 8 years ago that TeCori and Mia first met at work. The two quickly bonded over their passion for students and education and over time became great friends. After 5 years of friendship, the two decided to explore a deeper connection. And after 3 years of adventurous date nights, R&B jam sessions, and countless reruns of Martin, TeCori decided he was ready to pop the question.

TeCori spent months working on the perfect proposal. He always knew that he would propose at the place where they first met!! After asking Mia’s parents for her hand in marriage, he hatched a plan for Memorial Day Weekend, to ask Mia to be his bride.

TeCori gathered all of their family and friends to share in this special moment. As all of their loved ones poured into the place where they first found each other, Mia thought she was heading to a surprise party for TeCori. Little did she know that the pit stop TeCori needed to make was about to be one of the best moments of her life.

Sitting in silence, with great anticipation, Mia and TeCori's family and friends listened as they walked up to the door and entered the room. The complete shock on Mia’s face left every person in the room breathless. As they walked to the front of the room, with TeCori's arm wrapped around her, watching the animated video of their love story, there was not a dry eye in the room. As Mia noticed that the room was filled with all of the people they loved, and all of the people who loved them, she was overwhelmed with emotion.

As the video of their love story came to an end, the walls opened and in front of them was the most beautiful display of balloons saying “MARRY ME”. As TeCori took a knee, professing his love for Mia, and asking for her hand in marriage, Mia simply screamed “YES”. A yes that will last a lifetime, as these two coworkers, turned friends, and now engaged best friends, prepare to say I Do.
